Public records that citizens can check for themselves
Registries and signed documents in which the public and auditors can check directly that a record has not changed, without having to trust the operator. The records are tamper-evident by design and use algorithms from NIST's published post-quantum standards.
Algorithms from published standards
KXCO implements the algorithms specified in NIST FIPS 203, 204 and 205 (Federal Information Processing Standards), with a tamper-evident public record. Using these algorithms is not a NIST validation. KXCO is the software layer; the operating authority keeps control and accountability.
Trust the public can check
- Verifiable registries. Land, licences, credentials and public records anchored to a tamper-evident record, so a person holding an entry can check that it matches the anchored record and has not changed since it was anchored. This does not show that the entry itself is correct.
- Accountable payments. Disbursements and settlements that leave a permanent, auditable trail, so oversight bodies and the public can follow and reconcile funds.
- Signed documents. Issue signed documents that anyone with the issuer's public key and the document can check independently. KXCO Herald verifies identity for domains, documents, people and AI agents today.
Post-quantum and transparent
- In a deployment, the authority would sign public records with post-quantum algorithms, which are designed to resist attack by quantum computers.
- Citizens and auditors could then check the records directly, which reduces the need to trust any single operator.
- Deploys as software under the authority's own control. KXCO takes custody of no customer assets.
Licensed institutions hold assets. KXCO supplies the software.
