Terms

Anchor

An entry on KXCO Armature that lets another party check that a record existed in a given form no later than the time it was anchored. It does not make the underlying claim true.

Attestation

A record about a claim or action that another party can check. An attestation does not show that the claim is true.

Authority

What an identity may do. A valid signature shows that the holder of a given signing key signed. Linking that key to a named identity, and checking that the identity had authority to act, are separate checks.

Declared posture

What an AI agent says about its own governance, as scored by Portcullis Muster. It is not a measure of how the agent behaves at run time.

Descriptor

An offer or configuration of a product, written in lower case after the product name, such as Sovereign for institutions. A descriptor is not a sub-brand.

Identity

The party that acts: a person, an organisation or an AI agent. KXCO Herald verifies identity for domains and documents today. Identity for people and AI agents is in development.

Member and guest

In KXCO Guildhall, the Member owns a deal room. A guest is a participant admitted on a scoped ticket that expires.

Module

A function inside a product, written as the product name and a plain word, such as Portcullis Survey. A module is never a separate brand.

Ontology

The shared data model kept by KXCO Round Table: the kinds of thing it records, such as organisations, people, assets and events, and how they relate. The term also covers the structured record of claims held in it. Each claim carries a source, a basis, a confidence level and an effective date. The ontology is a data model, not an AI model.

Proof

A record another party can check: a signature, a hash-linked entry or an anchor. Each shows something specific and limited, set out on What a record proves. None shows that the underlying claim is true.

Reader copy

In KXCO Guildhall, a watermarked, timestamped copy of a document that a guest reads, so every copy can be traced to its source.

Verification

A check of a specific record: that a signature is valid, that the content has not changed since it was signed, or that a record was anchored on Armature by a given time. It does not show that the claim is true. It does not certify that a system is safe, and it is not regulatory approval.

Modules

Each module is written as its product's name and a plain word. Modules are never separate brands.

KXCO Round Table

  • Round Table Ontology. The shared data model and the structured record of claims, each with source, basis, confidence and effective date.
  • Round Table Live map. A navigable view of entities and relationships. Every link shows whether it was observed or inferred.

  • Portcullis Fortify. Provides the remediation and a re-scan that records what changed.
  • Portcullis Hold. Hosts signed releases. Critical findings are blocked by default.
  • Portcullis Muster. Scores an AI agent's declared governance. It assesses declared posture, not runtime behaviour.

KXCO Sovereign

  • Sovereign Exchange. Exchange of value between parties under the institution's rules.
  • Sovereign Settlement. Settlement records, anchored on Armature.
  • Sovereign Self-custody. Holding value under the holder's own keys. A module, not a wallet brand.

  • Guildhall Rooms. The controlled deal space: Member ownership, scoped tickets, reader copies and the approval trail.
  • Round Table Review. Guildhall uses this Round Table module on larger transactions.
